Voelker Orth Museum

Description

After being continuously occupied by three generations of the Voelker (and, later, Orth) family, this house was turned into a museum—it maintains the homestead as it was in the era of original homeowner Conrad Voelker (who purchased the house in the late 1800s). The grounds also house a Victorian garden (maintained using authentic 18th-century gardening techniques) and a bird sanctuary.
