Focused on showing contemporary artists originating from the Indian subcontinent and its diaspora, the Talwar Gallery established its New York City space in 2001, with its New Delhi outpost following in 2007. The gallery, which is committed to showcasing both new and established Indian artists alike, has exhibited work by dozens of painters, sculptors and others, like Nasreen Mohamedi, Alia Syed and Ranjani Shettar.
