Opened in 1994 by private art dealer Per Skarstedt to mount historical exhibitions of contemporary American and European artists, the Upper East Side gallery has since gained a reputation for excellence. Its impressive roster of artists includes George Condo, Jeff Koons, Barbara Kruger Keith Haring, Sherrie Levine, Richard Prince, Cindy Sherman, Jim Shaw and Andy Warhol.
