Boasting a diverse roster of noteworthy artists working today, Sikkema Jenkins & Co. is an established midsize gallery space located in west Chelsea. Represented are such big-name veterans like Vik Muniz and Kara Walker, as well as mid-career powerhouses Sheila Hicks and Deana Lawson. They also represent up-and-comers Marc Handelman and Erin Shirreff. Originally founded in 1991 by Brent Sikkema as the Wooster Gardens gallery in Soho, Sikkema Jenkins & Co. has since expanded, with senior partner Michael Jenkins joining forces with them in 2003.
