Sean Kelly Gallery

Description

Art-world stalwart Kelly got his start in Britain before moving across the Atlantic in the early ’90s, founding his eponymous gallery in 1995—starting out in SoHo and then moving to Chelsea and finally to its current location in Midtown. Kelly specializes in intellectually centered works with heavy political or conceptual elements, including the photography of the late Robert Mapplethorpe, and the installation art of Terence Koh. Open by appointment only.
