Description

Since its inception in 1968, the Queens Historical Society has been the leader in documentation and research for borough-wide history and information. The largest society of its kind in Queens, the QHS is housed in Flushing at the landmark Kingsland Homestead, one of the last remaining 18 century houses in the borough. The Queens Historical Society offers tours of the Homestead and hosts a variety of public programs including concerts, lectures and traveling art exhibitions.
