Description

The New York City office of the National Archives maintains historically significant records from Federal agencies and courts in New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. These records date back to 1865. Among the educational center's highlights are an exhibition called "New York on the Record," a research center that is openby appointment to the public as well as scholars and a learning center for use by educators, school groups and families.
