Description

The 5K – launched in honor of former Manhattan borough president Percy Sutton, a running advocate who helped make the New York City Marathon the five-borough event it is today–is a key component of the annual Harlem Week programming. In 2022, the New York Road Runners celebrates the 125th anniversary of the Greater Harlem Chamber of Commerce. The run takes place in and around St. Nicholas Park and also includes a 1.5-mile walk and kids’ races.
