Plymouth Church of the Pilgrims

Description

This congregational church (with roots in the 16th century English Reformation) was founded in 1847 by a group of 21 people who named Henry Ward Beecher its very first pastor. Nicknamed "Grand Central Depot" because it was believed to have been a huge part of the Underground Railroad, the church has a rich history: Abraham Lincoln even worshipped there once. Today, the establishment is home to several events, including Easter egg hunts, weekend and weekday church services, choir concerts and women's bible study.
